                  My brother could tell you how difficult it is to grow things out there and it is early summer, even there they have crop failures (such as last years Olives) but with little or no rain till October is it any wonder!

                      I'm pleased you are enjoying yourself in the sun. :thumbsup:

                      Have you been up to the Lasithi Plateau? That's where they grow all their produce. When I first went there 50 years ago there were thousands (they said there were over 4,000 :rolleyespink:) of windmills pumping up water.

                      Years ago I walked the Samaria Gorge and it was lovely but I don't think I could manage it nowadays :cry3: :heehee:

                        Glad to hear you are having a great time over in Crete Roders.:thumbsup:I did a bit of Googling and it looks a beautiful island but I would find it a tad too hot there with my fair skin:DWhat part of the island are you staying in?:)
