How damned frustrating! My daughter has just sat an insurance exam, Canadian style. She failed by just one mark. :gaagh:
She emigrated nearly three months ago to Vancouver and passing this would have given her the perfect job, as she sees it.

    Re-sit in two weeks.

Some of the most successful people failed their exams.

She will breeze it next time I'm sure. She'll already have a good idea where she went wrong, you just do don't you? And then she'll brush up on that area in time for the re-sit.

Thanks Clueless. Unfortunately they are not told what they fail on, they are just given there mark and that's it.

She also had problems with there different use of insurance 'jargon' to ours. She said it was like learning to read all over again. :)

I can only add what I've always said to my daughters, 'You can only do your best'.

I bet your daughters knows which bits she was certain of and which bits she was unsure about. There'll have been bits that she breezed, and bits she struggled on. Armed with this she will no doubt brush up on the bits she was less sure about. I think most people don't need to be told where they went wrong, they just know themselves.

    So did Winston Churchill.

Just to let you know. My daughter passed her exam yesterday (second attempt). Whoopee! :yess:

Hopefully the job she was after is still available. She's contacting the company tomorrow. Fingers crossed. :)

Yes! I can be very trying. :loll:
On a serious note, I am a 'fan' of Robert de Brus. When I first joined GC I had his statue at Stirling castle as my avatar. I read a lot of Scottish history. :)
