    Whenever a Drone goes into the air for whatever purpose there's always the chance it will fail and come down in unfriendly territory.:what: The Yanks aren't the only ones using Drones for "investigative" purposes and it was just a matter of time, and a throw of the dice, as to which country lost a drone and ended up with egg on it's face:scratch: The Americans, of course, run a lot more covert operations so the odds were against them anyway. I don't think the Yanks will be too worried about the loss of the Drone, but more about the loss of "face".:stirpot::D

      I think they would be more miffed at the fact someone they didn't want got a good look at it's components and software.

        I'm not too sure about that.:scratch: The Drone's electronics are typical *off the shelf" standard stuff which is the way the Americans do it. A lot of the software stuff would be mainly security blocking/screening to stop hacking of the communications/video and guidance. They'll just change things around a bit and be back to normal.:rolleyespink:

        Even the UK Police use drones for obs, None has dropped into my garden yet
