After upgrading a pc (see computer questions) I decided to have a bit of a clear out, so I have binned old cds, it must be 30+ cds, including old win 95 O.S. (Before anyone suggests it, there are lots on ebay £4, no bids) and some music cds that I have no idea why I brought them, and other free software I am now looking at how many other "old leads" I have and seeing what I don't need.

Have you still got old cd's etc you no longer listen to (how many) or what have you sorted and binned lately?

I had about 300 CDs, but sold quite a lot on Ebay recently, but I collected rare, other country releases and promo CDs, mainly..

why don't you see how much you can get on MusicMagpie for your CDs? Could buy you a couple of plants :)

I've got myself an M.P.3 player for the first time after accidentally leaving my small radio on the allotment shed roof. Yep, it had gone on my return.

Any chance of 'borrowing' some early proggy rock C.D.s Emerson, Lake and Palmer - Yes - Wishbone Ash - Jethro Tull ( to name but a few) to pop onto the aforementioned M.P.3 and then return? Cheers, Tony.

I can't remember why but years ago, when OH still worked in radio, he needed a copy of Chris de Burgh's 'Lady In Red'. OH contemplated wearing a false beard and dark glasses when he ventured out to buy it, lest anyone in HMV should recognise him. For a while he hid his shameful secret in a drawer, so that it wouldn't offend friends and family. It has now gone to the Shelter shop along with a pile of assorted books and cast off clothes.
