      I was wondering what would happen if someone flushes the toilet as it goes over the fruit on the track, but that's the last of their worries I reckon :eeew:

        I doubt there's much in the way of 'facilities' on board. I shouldn't think the train improves the taste, though.

        Nice ripe fruit ... with tasty oil dressing.

        It's probably a lot healthier than the veg sold here in the shops. Our lot is full of chemicals.

        But on the whole it doesn't give you dysentery. Unless you're reduced to buying Tesco's 'value', that is. :)

        I've eaten local food in remote corners of the world (and not just the corners :)) and never been sick - but I did have Salmonella here once. It wasn't very nice :sad:
