 Would you believe, they have taken off our beloved Gardeners World again tonight because of Snooker...
This time of year is gardeners prime time,we are in the mood,we need our fix to fire us up for the weekend.OK I like snooker BUT surley they could fit us in somewhere,it's an institution......IS NOTHING SACRED?
Rant over, I feel better now.

Beyond belief really, why can't they just stick grown men playing games on channel 301?

Don't know what the fuss is about. They're still potting things, aren't they?

Beechgrove garden was on last night, at 7.30pm on BBC2 Scotland, so why can't GW be put on BBC2 at 7.30pm on Friday?

And if you missed last nights Beechgrove, you can watch it on iplayer

with this digital switch over I can't understand why any programmes are cancelled all they need to do is not show a repeat on a channel and we could still have GW.The snooker fans could still have their programme.
I am not a soap fan or football fan but can not understand both major channels cancel a popular show and then show 22 overpaid underskilled lads run around with a plastic bag full of air.Let sky have the sport they do it better anyway, and let the beeb have drama and factual and put what ever they want on channels 4 & 5 E4 More4 itv=1 ect ect.

Thanks Steve - just watched it for the first time. Nice and "homely"- not as grand and swanky as Gardeners World. Good to see the primary school kids being allowed to get down and dirty. This is where future gardeners are created.

Sorry to argue Steve, but I got it in the neck because OH turned over for Beechgrove Garden at 7.25 and caught the last 2-3 mins. She spent the next 10 minutes speaking treetree interdispersed with the word Snooker:scratch:
