I'm reading 'The Lost Gardens of Heligan', just can't put it down.
And I'm reading Monty's 'Around the World in 80 Gardens' bit by bit. Would love to see it on TV again.
Oh, and dipping into Beth Chatto's books now and again.

I tend to read bits of things and then get bored. A bit like being a student again, when you skimmed six pages of lots of books and then wrote an essay pretending you had read them all properly.

Now that the gardening season is here I can't settle to reading books. I am not an avid reader but the last book I read a month ago was Three cups of tea by Greg Mortenson. A fascinating insight into life in Pakistan and Afghanistan and one man's desire to help,

I confess I'm reading about three books, Lord of the Rings [which I read about 20 or more times but just love it}, Asimov's "Foundation", and Arthur C Clarke's "Rama Revealed", all strategically placed around the house:snork:

I'm reading some of Cornwell's 'Sharpe' novels, even though I've seen them on tv years ago and James Patterson's 'Cross' series.

It's been a bit hectic at work just lately, needed a good laugh to wind down a bit, so I'm currently re-reading a few of my Terry Pratchett Discworld books.
They never fail to make me chuckle.

I read Asimoth's End of Eternity & thought it was great, couldn't get into the rest of his stuff though.

Just read Timpson's England by John Timpson, a guide to all things Quirky around the Country.

I thought it was just me who's bonkers enough to read LOTR 20 times. I've never counted but I reread the lot every few years.

I've only read a few but he's got such an incredibly inventive mind. Respect.

Cross Dressed to Kill by Andrew Lucas, an English black comedy very good, on my Kindle Touch I got for my birthday. Not my normal read as I like forensics and criminalology but this is funny ...
