Thank you again everyone. She starts her training tomorrow, it's going to be so nerve racking for her after all the time she has been out of work. I'm with her all the way though!
Thank you Penny for your help in the early months that Hayley was job hunting. It's been a long while coming. I'll pass on your Congrats, thanks.
Hayley is taking her final exams on Friday after being put through (excuse the pun) a crash course. An exam she took a few weeks ago she passed with a mark of 92%, so fingers and toes crossed for these. I'll have to ask her whether she found it easier to take her own driving test, or to take exams to teach others to do the same.
Wish her good luck from me Sheal. She's gonna sail through it - you'll see. She's a ( lady) biker , Jenny
I know from my own experience that passing the car test is nerve racking, but I found my PCV test even worse. I'll keep everything crossed til we hear some good news tomorrow Sheal
Thanks all, With an eight hour (behind) time difference I won't hear until very late tomorrow or Saturday.
Suspense over! Email from daughter Hayley at 11.30pm and I quote........... I PASSED MY FINAL EXAMS TODAY. WOOHOO! 7 hours of on the road testing and I've been close to puking, crying and pooing pants. I've already signed up for the next course in October, so I can teach up to 30 students in a classroom. In six months I can learn to drive a truck. I'm the proudest mum there could be at the moment! Hayley will go on to do HGV which means she'll be able to teach, trucks, cars and motorcycles.
