3 1/2 yr old G-daughter

Upon waking at our home on Christmas morn Melody saw her stocking full to bursting as was her siblings, she rubbed her eyes and said oh he came ! she asks me to carry stocking while taking her sister's hand, come with me she says and leads her down stairs she shows her there are presents under the tree and explains that Santa came last night and brought gifts, she then shows her the half eaten carrot the the reindeer's have nibbled on and the cookie half eateen that Santa has eating and the empty milk glass, Her sister (2yr) says "BUT WHY?" Melody leads her in to the dinning room and shows her my nativity scene and says when you go to school you will see they Play but this is Jesus and today he was born, he isnt alive now, so we all have presents instead from Santa, she says i think mama sends him money to pay though, i found this so touching, she then opened a few gifts before her breakfast and whilst eating she said before i go to bed i have to write to Santa to say thank you for our presents,

It is grand to see the magic in there eyes

 

ANd she is only three and a half- beautiful

 

well she will be 4 in march she is the sweetest when she wants to be
