    Just back from my local garden center and those are few of my after xmas bargains.

      Well, just got back from a nursery that had a big sale on, and bought these:-

      2 houttiynia cordata chameleon
      1 achillea mollis
      Tree peony
      2 crocosmia carmine brilliant
      1 doronicum little Leo
      2 achillea cloth of gold
      1 ligularia Britt Marie Crawford
      2 cynaro cardunculus
      1 miscanthus strictus
      1 miscanthus varigata
      1 panicum varigatum heavy metal

      And I thought I got a bargain sal! Nice 1!!

        that is a ludisia bicolor alba , it`s an orchids , seen it one on the forum , I think longk had one , now really regret I didn`t get the other 2 , one was almost dark green /black.
        never mind.

          Jealous of you all getting out to look for those little bargains in which large fruits of labour grow. Ours is still flooded out and wont be open for a few weeks yet.:cry3:

            there was that one and a strange one with a single line in the middle .......of course
            my missus was there to remind me that already spend too much .......there was
            about 30 variety of orchids all for a pound , but some where in a really bad state .....
            they must have been there all December with no water at all .

              My only bargain was a Photinia Pink Marble at the Range £15 down to £6.
              I'll have to watch out for reversion although if these are from tissue culture it shouldn't happen.

                I've wanted a Vanda for years but refuse to pay £30/£40 for one. Stopped of a my local independent nursery and saw this reduced to £9..................
