    Who believes in them?

Quite a few years ago when I'd only just passed my driving test, I had a very realistic dream that a car way in front of me had stopped for no apparent reason, and I left it too late to brake, resulting in my car going through someone's garden wall. The day after this dream, a car stopped suddenly ahead and I didn't wait to see what happened, but jumped on the brakes instead, and stopped literally a few feet behind the other car.

On a later occasion I dreamt that I was waiting in a jam when I decided to switch lanes. A single check revealed it to be clear so I pulled out, then had a white Transit Pickup wipe out my car ( very specific I know). Next day, having forgot this dream, I was on my way to work, got into a jam, checked to my left, nothing, was about to swap lanes then remembered my dream and hesitated. Checked again, white Transit pickup coming up way too fast.

Last night I dreamt totally out of the blue that I'd gone to see my mate in Taiwan, and his former regiment called him in because Taiwan was now at war. Lets hope that one was just a freaky dream.

Clueless I had your first premonition happen to me years ago when the M54 had not been open long, car had stopped just past 1st junction Featherstone, I went to pull into outside lane ,2 lanes only. When saw a car flying in outside lane and I had to stand on the brakes, I always felt they had missed the turn and were going to reverse back the few yards, problem was I had not long passed my test, If I had pulled out it would have been catastrophic ,but I bet I would have been blamed as the inexperienced driver.
