    Please can someone give me a good compost mix for hellebores in a large pot mine keep rotting off.

    That sounds like drainage problems, CG:scratch: :snork: I use General Purpose Compost that has a good proportion of Peat [:mute:] in it and mix in about 20% grit. One thing I do ensure is that I put the containers off the ground using various kinds of "risers":snork:
