Whats looking good in February

Spring can be only just round the corner, my Helleborus aren't in flower yet, yours are looking very nice indeed
There is a Forsythia hedge at work which I love to see when it is in flower (not long now )

 

What's looking good in my garden at the moment - nothing!

 

In terms of plant, the following in my garden are looking good;

- Cordyline australis
- Trachycarpus fortunei (standard)
- Choisya ternata
- Gardenia jasminoides 'kleims hardy'
- Gasteraloe
- Crassula sarcocaulis
- Rhododendron simsii
- Rhododendron japonica
- Jasminum polyanthum
- Solanum pseudocapsicum
- Euphorbia mellifera
- Yucca guatemalensis
- Yucca gloriosa variegata & plain
- Osmanthus x burkwoodii

Things not so good:

- Gardenia jasminoides (standard)
- Osteospermum yellow voltage
- Osteospermum tresco hybrids
- Sanvitalia

 

One or two things are beginning to look good and tease us with a taste of the approaching spring;

Snowdrops


Cyclamen


Celendine (I have 5 varieties, a bit of soft spot for these)


New Zealand hellebore


Tete-a-tete coming up nicely


New growth on my Sorbaria

 

Taken up temporary residence - Maskotkas tomatoes will be in there in May/June,

A large flowered Snowdrop with glaucus blue/green leaves

 

Lovely to see everyone's photos and to think about what's ahead for us up here. Now't worth photographing yet apart from snowdrops and helibores, but we'll be blooming when all those southern blooms have faded

 

As I took these yesterday I'll post them here.

Hellebore Spotted Pink Lady (I think).


Primula Denticulata has popped up early, anyone else have flower yet?
