    Hi can I just ask if anyone can name this plant.....please :dbgrtmb: also any suggestions
    what the white blob is ?

    I can't name the plant sorry...but that blob looks like a 'Gall' to me.....is there anymore and does it feel hard and chalk like?

    Its like polystyrene bit soft....what is a gall

    Galls are abnormal growths on plants and trees....can be caused by many different things,disease/weather....as far as i'm aware they rarely kill a plant but can make it look unsightly....they are easily removed by hand.....i'm assuming it's a gall but not knowing the plant i can't be certain:blue thumb:

    Hi Carl

    The flowers sort of remind me of the Salvia coccinea but the leaves don't seem right ... :scratch:
