    Hello,
    can anyone help me with the name of this plant? don't think it is in full bloom if the purple bits are actually flowers lol.

    My gut feeling is that it's a Peony of some sort..................

        I would agree, it is one of the Tree Paeonies.

          The leaves don't look like a Paeony to me.

          The leaves on Paeony suffruticosa are very different to the ones on the herbaceous type. Paeony lactiflora.
