    Could be Sorbaria sorbifolia , False Spirea , a small shrub with very nice colouring .

    thanks guys, seems in can be pretty invasive, not sure whether to plant it out or keep it in a pot

    Personally Not my kind of plant, but I would keep it in a pot.. As long as you water it and feed it it will be fine I would have thought..they are very invasive, they are becoming a huge problem where my cuz lives in CA. They are notifiable there now.. :yikes:
