2 years ago in the space of 4 month's , I had 2 op's - right side hernia repair, left side hernia and higher up, inguinal hernia. The second left side only found because of scan locating trouble on right side. Because at the time I was working as a care worker,and OH was recovering from major bypass surgery and cancer treatment it was deemed necessary.
Clueless, I really hope that's a typo. Or have you and Mrs Clueless found an entirely new way to liven up these long winter evenings? I had an operation to sort out a groinal hernia about three years ago. Keep an eye on it and if it starts to get painful, best to get it sorted out.
I have a strangulating hernia at top part of my intestine,is it maybe what you had?? @liliana had it at least 20yrs now,im ok unless im bending in a position to tie a shoe lace for example,i have had to push everything into place when i get caught out,,not nice!not sure if i should get it sorted out? Doc told me to mark the spot with a pen..which is a bit hard when your creased over Running for a pen then trying to move your boob out of the way whilst you dot a spot would seem inpossible I would dodge being punched in the stomach too @clueless1,hope yours will be ok x I really symaphise on a groin hernia i cant imagine how bad that is @Trunky x
