          Good morning my Son said to me this morning"dad I have put some food colouring in the small pond to make the water turn blue for you:heehee: so I will have to empty to day and refill it so I put the end of the small hose pipe in the pond and proceeded to suck on the other end and got a mouth full and it hasn't worked :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

            :biggrin: Put the hose completely in the water till all the air is out of it and then put your thumb wingtip over one end :)

                food colouring wont do any harm , it will disappear in a couple off days

                    The pond this morning ,Pete s water Lilly (Attraction) is sitting nicely 5 ft down just wondering if there are any other plants ie Oxygenators etc. I can add at this time of the year any advice would be greatly appreciated,thank you:smile:

                          Has the waterlily been in 5ft of water before ? if no I wouldn't leave at 5 feet, first year I would sit it on bricks or something similar to about 18 below the water line and as it grows lower it slowly until it at the depth you require , also it will be slow to grow in the spring as the water will stay cold for longer with it being so deep.


                          update just checked " Attraction " likes to be at the final depth of 2 feet
