what on earth are these

    Hi all

    I found these little fellows hiding under my wormery in the greenhouse, what are they I have scooped them up and put them on the bird table
    :)

      I've seen something similar in my liquid manure that I sometimes make from nettles.

      I think they are some kind of fly larvae/ pupa.

                I get them in my chicken manure tea mix,no idea why they like it there ,i dont recall seeing them in my comfry tea mix thou :dunno:
