Sunday trading hours/ Scottish mp's

I'm feeling a little lost here

Can anyone tell me where my threads gone

 

Why would you want to put a Victoria sponge, and some jam tarts into a mixer @wiseowl

 

I remember those boring Sundays too. The only places open were the car parts shops (closed at 12), petrol stations, and the occasional convenience store. We were forced to chill, go to mums for Sunday dinner, watch the Sunday Matinee, Tom and Jerry, Ski Sunday, and Songs of Praise.
If you went out for a drive, you wouldn't see too much traffic on the roads. All shopping had to be done on a Saturday.
And guess what.......I loved those days

 

I tried that on my 'Pet hate' thread @ARMANDII , but it didn't work
It was gun after gun after gun

 

I've kind of noticed over the years that if a thread stays on track it often dies a death pretty fast.
if its allowed to digress, as Ronnie Corbet used to say, it can go on for ever.

But I know it can be annoying.

 

I was thinking the same thing - we have wandered a little

 

I can remember when both of the supermarkets in town, along with all the other shops, closed for lunch, on a weekday even.
