The Rain was a relief last night and it's still raining as I type. But with good old British Weather it won't know when to stop:whistle:
Very heavy rain overnight with Thunder etc. The rain gauge shows around 3 inches (old money) I'm happy as all my water butts are full:yes:
I'm painting my new metal Arch bolts & joints with Hammerite paint..... It's taken me as long to put my quite tight overalls on than it was to...
Those were the days, down at the river doing the washing:whistle:
I'm in the Southern Water region, no ban at the moment, so tomorrow I will be topping up my water butts
Well I picked my first Runner Beans this morning.[ATTACH]
It's cooler in my bedroom, down to 25c, I must find an extra blanket:whistle:
I always use boiled Egg water for my seeds, it works for me.
24.8c in the shade with the low last night at 14.8c.
I am very careful using water, but if I need to use the hosepipe I will.

So I started work at 15 paying tax & Ins and I paid less into the pot than someone who started work some few years later, but gets more pension....
It rained overnight. Now @ 2.35 more Rain with Thunder. My water butts are now getting some free water.
All I did was fill one water butt with the garden hose. It's still quite hot outside for me.
Thank goodness it's a little cooler, dull and raining.
29.3 c in my bedroom a few minutes ago. If my cellar was a little clearer I would put a bed down there.
Did they say how much Sewage they pumped in the Sea:whistle:
