Personally, i hate tomatoes, but the Mrs loves them and betroot, so happy to grow them as much as i can for her……pickled betroot soon
I think they are gardeners delight……..i grew them from seed and we had a slow start due to cold temps in late april early may, but they getting...

Yeh i could put them in too, as my greenhouse betroots are ready to take out now too, ready for pickling and eating fresh on salads
Yeh i put gem lettuce in june and got nothing….not even a sprout of green shoot
Winter lettuce it is then…..but not til this 30deg heat dissappears from the radar
This is were i was growing my spring onions and lettuce over the past few months and its now empty. What can i grow there now for winter edibles...

Yup, basil growing with each tomatoe plant…….just trimmed some off now, to chop up and freeze

I used speedfit pipes to run water down to the greenhouse and then added a hose connection to it…….the line is burried under the new gravel i put...
