Well...At first I sowed normal amount of seeds then I saw this post ......
I transplanted about 50 toms in the last 3 days. Still about 50 to go.
I would think it is too late for normal/beefsteak toms. Cherry toms may still worth a shot. But I will buy seedlings instead at this time of a year.

Last year I bought many bags of peat free compost from B&M at £1.49/40l (reduced price). Being organic matter they can't be too bad as soil...
To combat frost damage in Belgium, farmers spray water onto blossom so it freezes, protecting it from even lower temps and a harder frost!

Update: apparently my yacon plants got hit and look dead now.
How's everyone? It got to 3C last night in the greenhouse, probably lower outside. But no signs of frost. Phew~
This is what I did: soak seed in 20C water for 24h (ideally the water should be around 30C but I can't find a 30C place), then sow in seed tray...
