Lady Waterlow [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Hemerocallis did cross my mind, I’ve got quite a few varieties, but they all have labels and I know where they are. It’s quite possible it came...
Can anyone help? I don’t remember planting this.[ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Lovely idea, @simone_in_wiltshire . I was wandering just this morning whether we have an insect thread on the forum.
Thank you. I don’t think it’s a paper wasp either. Lovely to have them in the garden whatever they are.
It’s back. It clearly likes the forget-me-nots. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
@On the Levels The bee is quite small - it’s on the forget-me-not flower. Some bees, especially the nomad type look very similar to wasps.
It’s also aquilegia season. I always love to see the variation in this plant - is there an aquilegia thread? [ATTACH][ATTACH]
My earliest salvia - can you spot the hoverfly? [ATTACH] Astrantia [ATTACH] Allium season indeed (:sunflower::hapfeet::sunflower:) [ATTACH]...

Allium, aquilegia, clematis and delphinium. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Thank you, @Busy-Lizzie. I’ve had all of them before and they haven’t survived here either. I should try to take cuttings, but I’m already...
I’m not sure. The pot is quite exposed as well - it’s almost in the centre of my small garden. I will keep an eye on it and see how things develop.
@fairygirl I would have thought it’s quite late. It’s been going in and out of a pot that has a rose in. I wonder if it’s nesting there :noidea:.
