I'd use a drop of baby bio if its in the house. I use that for all my house plants.
They will ripen off quicker when we actually get some sun!!! also it depends on what make you have, some don't ripen till July/August.
I feed mine only once in the summer, and it does fine cos they live in gritty sandy soil so don't get much food anyway in the wild.
musa's usually grow about 3ft during the summer so should be alright come October, then just wrap in fleece and put a bag over the top to keep out...
Rains fine it's when the compost drys out before you water again. Can't you plant it in the garden?as long as the soil drains easly.

Sorry about your garden. Mine just had about 3" of flooding at the bottom and the pond flooded too. And I've clay loam soil but it drained away...
