    Atmosphere was electric watching on TV but if anyone had been in Glasgow yesterday would have been fantastic.

    And when they began to sing I will walk 500 miles sound near split the roof just perfect adn I am not from Glasgow originaly Aberdeen.

    sorry put mine in wrong section,hope this helps the people who live in that area, and give loads of work to the kids seven years is a long time,lots of kids could get good apprenticeships
    and help them in future,well done Glasgow,also dont come from Glasgow, but still feel a burst ofpride for them good luck to them all [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Seriously congratulations to all concerned in the submission. I am sure the games will be organised with typical Glaswegian competence. (Do they want to borrow that quid to buy the eggs for the egg and spoon race). [​IMG] [​IMG] :D

    When you come up to our neck of the woods you have to catch the haggis beacuse they fly.

    Do you understand this spelling do we have to translate:)

    I heard that the haggis has the 2 legs on the left shorter than the 2 on the right for running round mountains. And you catch them by coming up behind them and grab them and turn them round so they fall over. My Scottish granddad used to tell me that as a child. SO IT'S RIGHT.
