    ...and what this might be, and how it got to be amidst the fuschias :dunno:

    I'm asking coz it's quite pretty and I'd like more next year. I'm hoping that it's not an F1 summat or t'other which means I can't collect viable seeds.

    Assuming those leaves belong with the plant, I would say it IS a Fuschia, certainly look like Fuschia leaves.

    Well, Silver Surfer was right with Lychnis. I've no idea where it has come from. I can only assume that it was unnoticed within the fuschia plants. I don't normally buy fuschias, they're not a plant I have much success with, but I'm loving this bright and happy plant! Next year I'll replace the Salvias with this - the bees seem to love it too...
