a rose by any...name Please!!

    Hello all, I'm hoping there might be some rose experts out there who can shed light on a name for this rose which has been flowering at Stillingfleet Lodge gardens for the last thirty years or so. It's flowering now and has been flowering for a few weeks.

    thanks lolimac, we've just been informed by Michael Marriot at David Austin's that the rose is Excelsa, named in 1909. Mystery over!
