    Hi
My climbing roses Wenlock and Compasion, have each put up about twelve blooms each, they are budded up about half an inch and are now opening
It is minus 2c out there
    What should I do
    Cut them off
    Wrap them up
A couple of standard roses have each got one bloom on them too

Common sense on my part Jack would be to say, leave them and let them take their chances with the weather, when they die off, prune them off. At least it will give you some colour. If you wrap them up they are likely to mould.

I'm sure Woo will be around at some stage to point you in the right direction. :)

I have a cluster of 3 lemon coloured buds that are the highlight of my view from the kitchen window at the moment. I do hope they can stuggle on to make a little posy to pick,

Thank you, just wondered Why they would come into bloom in such cold wet conditions

Thought I must have planted them upside down or something :-)

I will leave them to nature then, and prune when the heads die off

Good evening Jack I have many still in bud,my thoughts are that if I were to cut them off it would be the same as pruning them, and risk frost damage later on,only my personal opinion though:)
