Andrews Army needs you

Dear friend,

On the 9th September 2010 our son Andrew was diagnosed with a brain tumour. We cannot begin to express to you how such news affected us. The tumour was successfully removed but Andrew has since received treatment for cancer at The Royal Marsden in Sutton, Surrey. He has completed a course of radiotherapy and begins chemotherapy in January, which will last almost a year.

We are contacting you because we need your help and support. We really feel we would like to give something back to this amazing hospital that has helped us through the toughest time and will continue to do so for as long as necessary. On the 27th March 2011 a walk is taking place from The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea to their sister hospital in Surrey, a grand total of 14 miles (a shorter walk of 5 miles can be done on the day if you’d prefer). The Marsden March is aiming to raise funds for both hospitals, including developing a new children’s unit (which has already begun) and the purchasing of a cyber-knife, the latest technology to aid radiotherapy.

There are no words to express how worthy a cause this is and you can be involved with us, in a number of ways. If you feel up to doing the walk then contact us with the following details and we will register you (covering your registration fee).
