Another ID request

    Hi

    Couple of photos attached. If I remember correctly this started to come up at about the same time as the daffodils, but as yet hasn't produced a flower and the foliage seems to be thriving rather than fading off.

    It's in a shady area and didn't appear last year - but it was very overgrown in this area then, and I've had a few things pop up that I've not seen before.

    Any help greatly appreciated as ever.

    It is Carex pendula, a grass which seeds easily. You may well find others in your garden.
