This was grown from the pruned stems of a rose that was in the garden when I moved here. The original ( which just keeled over after a couple of years ) was about 3 feet high with a tight compact habit whereas this, and another one like it, have both grown to about 8 feet this year.
Flower, scent ( light and peppery ), and size lead me to think it might be an Iceberg, but that doesn't take into account the size of the parent. Anyone got any ideas please?

Hi Skinner could be that the original was a floribunda and the two new Rose cuttings have reverted to a climber has with a Iceberg you can get them in both forms.:)

[IMG]Duh! I'd never thought of that Wiseoldowl... just assumed that the offspring would retain the characteristics of the parent. Oh well that's brought another brain cell into play. Thanks.
