    Both pics have dissapeared!!
    Will have to try again later as just on the way out..

    It looks like one of the speedwells to me..but perhaps someone else will think different..its rather lovely isnt it..perhaps hornbeam will know exactly what it is.....

    Agree with Wildflower. The flowers are closed because of the rain and so we can't see them properly. If they are blue with a white centre then they are Germander Speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys).. Leaf shape suggests this also - softly hairy.

    Yes it is rather lovely, I'll have a look when it's not raining to see colour of flower when open.

    It's growing in a couple of places in my garden.

    Is it a wild one?

    you could use this lovely picture you have taken as a desktop saver on your computer..going back to your speedwell ..its a usefull plant as you can make a tea with it and its good for bronchial..arthritic..rheumatic..and skin complaints..you can also mix it with normal tea leaves ..i think the reason behind that is because it tastes bitter..yes it is wild and will return again next year...it will probably spread also!!
