I have major pc problems, so may be a bit hit and miss til the engineer calls. Sheesh this was a high spec pc, bought only 18 months ago and for the last 3 months its been glitch after glitch.

Its working after a fashion, but not as it should - the really annoying bit is that the backup image would not restore - so its been ****** difficult to find and copy over my data - including my 7000 plus family tree.

I am getting really hacked off.

You should invest in an external hard drive to back up all your precious stuff every day or so. It's worth the extra £70-80.

MD I did - I have an Archos external hard drive - I back up to this once a week, and to my second internal hardrive every day. Unfortunately the windows reinstallation seems to have turned my internal drive to a floppy - so is unavailable. The wonders of technology   .
