Apple tree

    I bought one of these bargain buy apple tree's from woolworths about two years ago and it has roughly 4 different varieties grafted on to the rootstock and it flowered lovely this year (although covered in aphids...now sorted) it has probably maybe 30 or so small fruits on it i was just wondering what i should do with them as it is still a very small young tree...

    eat some

    make some jam

    but when you have an apple tree thats 30 plus years old and is as large as mine there is away of using the apples . make some cyder

    Wow, look at the blossom on that! I should think you ought to be self sufficient in cider for a fair while if that crops as well as it looks its going to!

    lol no i know what to do with them:D i mean there are way to many for such a little tree should i thin them out so it uses less energy?
