    BBC 2 ...7pm ..tonight...27th July...Carol Cline has a new series dedicated to the evolution of plants...Tonights episode is all about Roses:yahoo:It should be really interesting ...apparently fossils of Roses have been found dating back 37 million years:hate-shocked:...

            I don't think anything can beat the natural and humble Dog rose. When it's compared to some of the ugly roses that are produced now I know which I'd rather have. :)
