Basil annual or not?

    Thick question.. sorry

    Will basil overwinter in a greenhouse or is it an annual?

    I think the only way you will get it to grow in the winter is by providing light and heat ..It is an annual and you would probably be cheaper to buy it from the supermarket for the winter months than provide heat and light.. :D
