Had an email (supposedly) from BT saying join up or loose your email account.

I've created a new aol account, but how on earth do I import all my contacts from BT :dunno:

Tried "import" in the tools bit, but it only gives the option to import a file from my own computer.

    T.I.A.

    :please:

The only way I can think that might work would be to add the BT account to a mail client (Outlook or Thunderbird), save the contacts to the .PST file and then add the new AOL account to the same mail client and copy them across? I could be way off the mark though, so don't delete anything until you are absolutely certain that everything has transferred.

I've recently had an email supposedly from BT sent to a non-BT email address of mine that BT knew nothing about and which wasn't sent to any of my BT email addresses they use to communicate with me. http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/another-email-scam-alert.2121/page-13#post-717191

But if you still have access to your BT email account why don't you compose an email to your new email address, CC it to every contact you've saved, then cut and paste all of them into the message and send all the contacts to your new address. Not a very elegant solution, but at least it will save them all, and then if they're all pasted into an AOL email you should get the option of saving them all before aborting the email.

@Zigs aren't you supposed to use 'export' and not 'import'? :)
