Bury squash stems when pricking out?

    The squash have exploded into life while I was away for the weekend - hurrah!

    When pricking them out, do you bury the stems like a tomato, or keep the compost the same level as before?

      if leggy I always bury them a little , just dont over water them, or the stem may rot
