    Good afternoon all my friends I am going to try and locate as many town and country butterfly's this year which will starting tomorrow mean endless treks across country in the burning sun,oh well someone got to do it:heehee:

    To Day we have "The Common Blue"its a little scruffy will try to do better:smile:

          Good evening Jenny of course you can and everyone else would be most welcome my friend,the thread will only be a success if we all post our photos,I would be over the moon if we could make this Gardeners Corner Butterfly Thread,I just thought that the buzzing and flying thread has so many different species on it that an butterfly thread would be a good idea,:smile:

          Ps I waited for a long time for it to open its wings and when it did I missed it;)

                        Shiney they are certainly two that I haven't seen before,I' ve had a look in my book but cannot find them:scratch: the first photo looks similar to a RYEstone Golden Sussex ,The second photo is very rare ,much more attractive ,,loves the shade,and is often seen in the Home Counties,thanks for sharing;)
