'Buttons' not working

The 'buttons' at the bottom of the page that take us out of the thread, forum etc. haven't worked properly for me for weeks. Particularly the one that takes me out of a thread. They should highlight in blue before hitting them and that isn't happening so I have to scroll to the top of the page each time to exit.

Could admin help me out with this please?

 

They work for me but I never use them.
Occasionally use "back to top button", but mostly just scroll up using the wheel on my mouse.

 

I'm using Edge/Bing @Fat Controller. My son has had a good look around via Teamviewer but can't find anything untoward. I'm wondering whether this may have something to do with the last major update a month or so ago?

 

I'm referring to those right at the bottom @JWK. At the bottom of this page you will see from left to right....'Home' 'Forums' 'Site Feedback and Information' and 'Site Feedback/Bugs'.

Contact, home, help and top. right hand side.

 

I sometimes have to hit the "new Post" button twice to get it to work, i also have the same problem on other web sites

I have converted @Fat Controller to a robot for the purposes of this exercise.... he will be back to normal soon (well, as normal as he ever is!)

The GC troubleshooting bot has tested the links and is currently posting this from an Edge browser, and all of those links work. This would suggest that this is something local to your machine, perhaps an update has messed Edge up or there is an update awaited.

As with all of these type of problems the advice is to clear your cache (or run CCleaner to do it for you), restart your PC, and ensure that all updates that are available have been installed. If this still persists, then the next thing to do is to use a different browser - Chrome, Firefox, Opera being three that spring to mind.

I will release @Fat Controller shortly, as long as he behaves himself.....

No, I realise that, just some added info. and wondered if those ones worked for you.
Oh and by the way, none of those down the bottom of the page go blue for me either, but they do work.

It can only be an update then, everything that you have suggested was done a couple of days ago. Other browsers don't function properly on my laptop with the exception of 'Opera' which I've not tried, to be honest I don't think that would be any different either.
