In the later stages of hypothermia, just before you pass out, you feel fine. You stop feeling cold and everything and you just want to rest. Anywhere seems like a perfectly good place to go to sleep. You just have to listen to the ever diminishing part of your brain that is still clinging to the thread of logic, if its freezing and you feel fine, you're not. Keep moving and get warmed up.

          Take extra care

When temperatures fall to sub-zero, the number of deaths from heart attacks peaks three days later, from strokes five days later and from respiratory infections ten days later.

Keeping my central heating on 24 hrs day - got the thermals on - adding whisky to my coffee and visited the Drs tonight - hoping that rules out any chances of the above!
