Child Abuse in Ireland

Glad to see this enquiry has finally published its results - but furious that we don't get to find out names of the abusers What's worse, the compensation being paid is coming from the Irish government (ie taxpayers!) and not the Catholic Church, who as we all know, aren't short of a bob or million.

These so called men and women of god - those who knew what was going on and advocated it and those who committed the abuse need to be found and prosecuted.

Sorry, but I find the Catholic Church's blatant hypocrisy mind blowing. Rant over!

 

By far, the most shameful aspect of this isn't that there were a few rogue elements and the church covered it up, oh no, it was systemic, institutionalised, rape, slavery, battery and degradation. I am particularly concerned that there will be no justice for the victims.
