Chillies

Hi All
I have just eaten a chillie pepper from Sainsbury's, Type "Fresno" (Kenya). If I plant the seeds will I get plants that will produce chillies next year. If so when do I plant the seeds?

It doesn't say its an F1 hybrid, so there is a good chance if the seeds are of a reasonable size they will germinate, sow next spring
