    I was going to tag this onto the Ideas that got lost thread, but thought it might take that one too off topic, this is one of the best things ever shared to my faceless book......

    So, evidently we've learned bugger all over the past 2,068 years.

    Just to clarify, events currently happening in the Phillipines should NOT come under a curtailment of assistance, that's different.

      Politicians cannot learn. If they have the learning gene, it's removed and if it can't be removed they don't get the job!
      It's always - we'll defer a decision until the next election. Prevarication is what keeps governments going.
