    Hi Everyone This Plant Is growing in the IVY over My garden Arch ,and I have,nt planted anything else there,any idea,s .Thank you:)

    Could it be a campsis? They easily grow from seed, well at least they did back in Italy, after the Ailanthus correction, I will be more careful ;) Not sure,mind, but the leaf is sort of similar.

    Looks like Golden Hop. Humulus lupulus 'Aureus'.

    I also think it is campsis, its going yellow but its a pinate leaf, cental stem with leaflets.

    Hops have a lobed leaf, single leaf but lobed

    If its hop the stem will be rough, its also a twiner, and the sap leaves a dark dye on white material.

    If its campsis it will have smallish aerial roots coming from the nodes, which it uses to attach to a support, similar to the ivy.

    That is Golden Hop, Humulus lupulus Aureus.:thumb:

    David knows its not a hop, Ivory.

    Cant believe Woo can live in Kent and even think that could be a hop.:D

    Oh I could think that very well, that's why I lookedit up.

    As I said, never really seen hop before ;) We make VINO in Italy. :D

    A few years ago, Kent was mostly covered in hops and orchards.
    Some orchards have survived, most hops are now gone.:(
