This rose is over 30 yrs old and in decline despite feeding and pruning regularly. I want to replace it with the same variety but can't find it. Tried taking cuttings but not successful. :(It flowers all Summer and has a very strong exotic scent. I don't think it is on a root stock. I am a new member and don't know how to upload the photos so the above link takes you to my kodak gallery. Any help would be great :)

Evening, Keri and welcome to the site. Rather than take cuttings, I would layer the plant. Or one stem, anyway.:thumb:

Remember that when you replant a rose in the same place of an old rose you should replace a good amount of the ground too, or the new rose will have problems.
