the other two are named Golden Shower Climbing Rose. they grow 7ft to 10ft in height.:thumb:.
I have just been checking on line!! in whitehall garden centre they cost £12.99. In Freemans ,cost £14.00. in Kaleidoscope ,cost £12.00.( PER ROSE) . I purchased the four roses in total from Poundstretcher's for the grand total of £8.00:dbgrtmb: . they are looking very healthy with nice fresh shoots growing and a good root system.

Music, you're singing my tune! The best price I've seen today was at B&Q who was asking £2.39p for unnamed roses, bush, T, and climbing.

Hi Clueless . Poundies are still going strong in Scotland ,and have been for as long as i can remember. never heard of any collapse .as a matter of fact they are stepping up on larger items for the home and Garden, and the quality has improved a great deal over the years .:dbgrtmb:.

They ran aground about 12 years ago round here. I don't know if it was a franchise that failed but it was big news locally because a lot of staff got laid off at the same time, including a young lass that later became my good missus.

However I've just looked at their website and it seems they are going strong as you say, and the wife has just informed me that a new one is opening soon here.

I think £PoundStretcher was called Instore for a period (or a stretch :WINK1:) , then reverted back to £Poundstretcher. The prices and quality for plants and gardening odds and sods are excellent at this time of year. Must pay them a visit soon !

I Was down at Poundstretcher's again this morning :D. I was standing at the door 20 mins before it opened:D.
just in case somebody beat me to the Roses, as their stock was low yesterday.I was first at the door ,as a small queue started Behind me. I knew where the Roses had been stored ,fortunately being early at the store paid off. when the girl opened the door I was like (A Bat Out Of Hell )to the place where the roses are stored. their stock was down to two :WINK1:. I got the last two:thumbsup:. I was talking to the check out girl, i asked her " are you expecting more deliveries soon" she said they were expecting more garden stock in today. :dbgrtmb:.

Purchased another 2 Bush Roses Today from Poundstretchers. :thumb: Another Bargain, 2 for £4 :thumb:.
I remembered the name of the rose ,as WISEOLDOWL had quoted it on an early post, the name was
(QUEEN ELIZABETH ROSE). Woo had stated the rose he had was 54yrs old. It is a pink bush rose with a beautiful fragrance ,According to the Literature provided . I went on line tonight being curious of prices and Recommendations of attending to the Roses. on an Average of the four sites I visited ,this rose came in between £10 to £16 Per Rose . The Roses from poundstretchers are grown in Holland, and all information is given on the packaging. :dbgrtmb:. Another Snip :dbgrtmb:.
