    A thread for posting your close-ups of flowers (or fruit, branches, etc). Identification of plant appreciated where possible. Images posted here are expected to be "fresh" and related to the current season.

            I like seeing closeups of flowers and want to show one of my recent ones, but I am a bit anxious to do so because I don't know if cropped and 'sharpened' photos are allowed.
            If they are not then I will be unable to post any myself because the photos I take are not very good, so they have to be 'enhanced' in order for people to see them clearly. I always do it for other threads.

              @Michael Hewett As you are not the Princess of Wales I would have thought a little adjustment wouldn't be too bad.

                    @Michael Hewett in my opinion (others may of course disagree) the point is to see the plant detail, so if the enhancement is to that end then it seems perfectly fitting. I do hope cropping is allowed as I do that by default - I use my phone camera so can't always get close enough to frame an image perfectly!
