They can be a bit spindley as single plants, that's why they tend to come like yours, a few seedlings bunched together. Mine was the same.

I find that mine isn't that fussy at all. It's thriving on a north facing window sill where temps are around 18-20°c and humidity is around 40.

I've had to lop it right back on two occasions, they grow quite quickly. I water it when the pot feels on the light side and feed it during the summer (though I might start feeding during the winter too as mine just seems to grow well whatever the season is).

As for flowers, berries and coffee beans, I wouldn't hold your breath, mine just gives me beautiful glossy leaves, I'm happy with that.

I know someone who grew coffee in Maine, which is considerably colder in the winter than here but you have to really put the effort in. Coffee is a tropical rainforest plant, so likes humidity and warmth. I believe they grow it in the tropical biodome at the Eden project but don't know if they have ever had fruit.

They are trees in their natural environment so they would need years to mature and plenty of space if you were wanting fruit. I think my friends fruited (only lightly though) from about 4-5ft high.

If you look at the picture of mine below you can see there are lots of stems. I didn't separate mine. These were very thin when I first got it, now they have thickened considerably and it is now quite a sturdy compact little plant.

Your three will probably be fine once established. In fact, once they get going they can get out of hand quite quickly. Like I said, I've had to trim mine twice to keep it in check. If you have the space you could let them do their own thing and they'll probably get quite big.
